About Kristine

Steady Leadership. Real Results.

I grew up in the Inland Empire and have spent my career working with the communities, businesses, and organizations that make this region run. When it came time to buy my first home, there was never any question where it would be.Rancho Cucamonga is home, and it has been for nearly 15 years.

Voters in District 2 first elected me to the City Council in 2018 and re-elected me in 2022. I've tried to earn that trust the same way every day: read the staff report, return the phone call, show up.

Professional background
I serve as Regional Public Affairs Manager for Southern California Gas Company, overseeing public affairs across the Inland Empire — Riverside and San Bernardino Counties, the Coachella Valley, and Imperial County. My work puts me at the table with local governments every day on franchises, permitting, emergency preparedness, and response. It's an experience that translates directly to City Hall.

Education
I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Communications, with an emphasis in Public Relations and a minor in American Studies, from California State University, Fullerton. I'm an alumna of the Southern California Leadership Network's California Connections fellowship and the Inland Empire Economic Partnership Regional Leadership Academy.

Regional service
I currently serve on the boards of the League of California Cities, the Inland Empire Economic Partnership, the Community Action Partnership of San Bernardino County, and the San Antonio Regional Hospital Foundation, and as Membership Chair of Inland Action. I'm Immediate Past Chair of both the Cal Cities Inland Empire Division and the Greater Ontario Business Council, and I serve on the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Information Exchange Committee and the Mojave Desert Air Quality Management District Technical Advisory Committee.

In 2019, Assemblymember James Ramos named me Woman of the Year for the 40th Assembly District.

At home
When I'm not at a council meeting or a community event, you'll find me on the trails, at a local restaurant, checking out a new music venue and hanging with my rescue dog, George
